True Spirited Aussies was born of our instant love of our first Toy Aussie. Our love of these wiggle butts grew into matching people with the true love of their lives...the furry, unconditional kind. Our ethical and sanitary practices are of the utmost importance to us. We take our responsibilities with our puppies very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. We always genetically test our parent dogs, and ensure they are cleared against over 200 diseases. We truly want the healthiest pups, and strive to maintain breed standard in appearance and conformation.

 

During the course of the puppies' 8 weeks with us, they undergo a training / desensitization protocol. From one week of age, we begin exposing the puppies to things such as nail trimmings, touching their mouths and gums, touching / rubbing the pup from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail, etc. As the puppies age, we begin noise desensitization training, incorporating sounds such as: fireworks, crying babies, children playing, cats meowing, thunder, and more! At the same time, we expose them to different types of terrain, different colors, new smells, and so on. We do all of these things on a daily basis, in order to instill in our puppies, a certainty of the world around them. Because we believe confidence-building is key to a happy, well-adjusted puppy, we have spent hours building jungle gyms, assembling balance boards, slides, see-saws, and more for our pups.  By the time they go to their forever homes, they are confident, happy, and eager to learn and be loved, as they associate humans with three things: learning, affection, and play.

Truly, the happiest days for us are when one of our babies is adopted by a welcoming forever family who love them back. We have been blessed over the years to see many families return for another Aussie! Next to our incredible reviews, the biggest compliment we can ever receive is when we have return families! We have placed puppies in many states including: Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas, California, Kentucky, Colorado, Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, West Virginia. And we have taken puppies internationally to countries such as Germany, Norway, and Mexico.
